Job Title: CAD Technician

• Creating drawings: Using 2D or 3D software to produce sketches, models, and detailed drawings.

• 2-4 years of experience as a CAD Technician.

• Take paper drawings and transfer them to an electronic form.

• Ensuring quality: Checking that drawings meet quality and technical standards.

• Fixing mistakes: Finding and fixing inaccuracies or mistakes in drawings.

• Communicating: Working with engineers, designers, and project staff to ensure the design accurately reflects the intended vision.

• Making calculations: Using mathematical formulas to calculate angles, weights, and costs.

• Keeping records: Keeping accurate records of different versions of design work.

• Creating schematics: Developing schematics, angle views to show how components interact with each other.

• Making changes: Making changes to existing designs to ensure production is efficient.

• Creating material lists: Compiling a list of materials required for a project.

Additional Information:

• One step onsite interview process.

• Pay Scale is $25/hour-$35/hour depending on experience.

• 100% onsite.

• 6 month contract with the ability to be extended up to one year.
