Are you an experienced Medical Affairs expert with a passion for innovation? As Medical Lead – VMS Innovation you will champion patient outcomes and business success, using scientific expertise to inspire, partner and lead. You will work cross-functionally to lead the strategic planning and delivery of Medical brand plan for new innovation products. You will also take a leadership role in communication with Key Opinion Leaders ensuring a HCP engagement plan is in place for key products within the VMS portfolio.

Role responsibilities

  • Guidance and input into brand strategy and medical/clinical direction of VMS brands

  • Clinical evaluation of new VMS product opportunities

  • Key Opinion Leader (KOL) mapping and engagement to ensure we have market access and a clinical voice supporting the VMS (Vitamin & Supplements) brands

  • Liaison with regional medical colleagues (as requiredto ensure we are up to date with clinical platforms and information for our brands and customers

  • Development and implementation of customer education programs

  • Managing risk and providing medical guidance

About you

Qualifications:

  • Relevant Qualifications in a Medical/Pharma/Science discipline

Experience:

  • You will have a solid understanding of the Australian Health Care System

  • Knowledge and proven exposure to VMS category (Vitamin and Supplements) preferred

  • Proven Medico - Marketing/Medical Affairs background

Technical & Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to develop strong professional relationships is essential- both internal and externally

  • High level Commercial acumen and wider business perspective

  • Ability to work with both local and regional partners at all levels

  • Highly autonomous, proactive and passionate
