Join our R&D Project Team as Innovation Project Manager AMEA, where you’ll be responsible for leading and delivering end-to-end initiatives that contribute to sales growth along the innovation ambition. This role focuses on our Vitamin and Supplements brands (VMS) in Australia, with the scope to work on some wider regional projects in future across the entire portfolio.

Main responsibilities:

  • Fully accountable to make decisions and deliver project on time, and in budget according to scope

  • Lead cross functional teams with local/regional/global project representative(s) from support functions (Regulatory, Medical, IA, Supply Chain, Brand, CMI, Market Access, Public Affairs, Finance, Legal, Science hub, Business Development) as needed

  • Defines, owns and executes the project strategy based on and in alignment with the functional inputs

  • Proactively communicate project expectations, statuses and metrics to all key stakeholders, along with reporting and KPI’s

  • Represents the project to the relevant Innovation Committee for gate submissions, status updates, major project changes as well as escalation of decisions and issues

  • Maintains Project and portfolio Management Systems such as IRIS

  • Conducts after action reviews and continuous process improvements, apply and share best practices

  • Perform risk management strategies

  • Facilitates Kick Off and Planning workshops as well as regular project team meetings to drive and track progress

About you

  • Must have innovation and project management experience working with Consumer brands- ideally within FMCG or Consumer Healthcare industries

  • Proven experience working in regulated environments in Australia and New Zealand- additional APAC countries a bonus

  • Excellent understanding of various functions related to innovation process

  • Experience managing cross-functional teams based in different countries

Soft and technical skills :

  • Highest level of communication to work cross-functionally and at all levels, including Senior Leadership

  • Ability to confidently make key decisions and update/ influence key decision makers

  • Working knowledge of Project Management Systems such as IRIS

  • Strong analytical skills: possess the ability to proactively analyse problems, identify key issues, develop strategic and tactical solutions, and design metrics to measure business impact

Education :

  • Degree Qualified in relevant field

Languages :

  • Excellent written and verbal English required.
