Performs welding and burning according to specification as directed. Reads job drawings and identifies proper welding symbols, utilize structural and miscellaneous skills to fabricate from blueprints, ensures safety / QC standards are met, work Duties include - welding, cleaning, sweeping, fabrication, painting and other duties as assigned by supervisor to keep the shop clean, functional, and hazard free Requires welding experience: mig, tig, and stick; mig and tig with aluminum and stainless is preferred. Individual will need to pass a drug screen and welding test prior to hiring. Qualifications: Previous experience in welding, manufacturing, or other related fields, reads a tape measure fluently, valid driver's license and/or reliable transportation, willing to work overtime as needed, work as a committed team member, always keeps safety in mind Benefits: Southern New Jersey Steel offers a competitive wage and benefits package commensurate with experience and length of service.
