Summary

The Employee Real Estate Agent will perform licensed duties including working with referred and qualified buyers and sellers. Compensation and benefits include base guaranteed salary plus accelerating bonuses, medical insurance, paid vacation/PTO and more. Ready, willing and able (preapproved) Buyer and Seller referrals are provided to the salaried agent by our inside real estate sales associates and inside mortgage sales team. Incoming buyer and seller opportunities also include incoming direct leads from other sources including Zillow and OpCity.

This position will require travel/field work in the surrounding areas around Villa Park (Lombard, Elmhurst and other surrounding neighborhoods) and will require on-site working 2x/week (Wednesdays and Thursdays) at our Schaumburg office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Immediately respond to buyers/sellers/renters assigned by Inside Sales Associate (ISA), Zillow and Opcity.

  • Use company designed follow up systems, sales process and communication campaigns for all referrals assigned.

  • Use required CRM and technology tools systems.

  • Work as a Team: Communicate with clients, ISA/New Client Care Team, Loan Officers and other partners as specified.

  • Stay current on local market conditions, housing inventory, and industry trends.

  • Schedule and be available for all necessary appointments as needed to facilitate a real estate, mortgage and title transaction.

  • Required Attendance at regularly scheduled daily & weekly meetings, training and coaching sessions to continuously grow skills.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Thorough understanding of the real estate process including contracts, the buyer and seller journey, best practices and license law.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Stay up to date and use the technology systems and tools provided.

  • Build rapport to create trusted business relationships with clients who are referred.

  • Strong aptitude for new technology tools and systems.

Education and/or Experience

  • Active Illinois Real Estate Broker License

  • 2 years of Real Estate sales experience with a minimum of 6 transactions
