Job Summary:
We are looking for a mechanical engineer to be inserted in the liquid ring compressor Department. He will report to the R&D Manager at the Italian site and, functionally, to the Operations Manager of the production site in Germany.
His role initially involves supporting the production site in Germany, through the review/translation of technical documents, drawings and short trips to that location to support production activities. Subsequently, the candidate will follow R&D projects aimed at improving the Garo Product. He will be also involved in compressor performance evaluation and in some testing activities.
We will offer a complete training on Garo products.
Required skills:
Three-year bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (3 years). Preferred POLIMI.
Knowledge of Inventor-type parametric 3D CAD.
2D Autocad CAD knowledge.
Ansys Mechanical knowledge, FEM and Modal.
Fluid Machines basic knowledge.
Rotating machines knowledge.
Basic Knowledge of manufacturing routings, machining and fixtures.
Italian language.
English language.
Availability to travel to Germany on a regular basis (1 week per month).
Good character and willing to build good relationships with the workshop workers.
Preferred skills:
2 or 3 years' experience in the rotating machinery sector, if possible in companies with their own workshop.
Bearings and bearings lubrication knowledge.
Basic practical experience on machine tools (lathes, balancing machines).
CFM knowledge.
Pyton language basic knowledge.
German language.
Residence near eastern Milan.
