IT Concepts Sr Human Resource Information Systems and Workforce Analyst in Vienna, Virginia

IT Concepts is looking for a Sr. Human Resource Information Systems and Workforce Analyst professional to join our growing team. If you have robust experience in the back office of HCMs, enjoy optimizing processes through automation, and can assist leadership with robust people analytics, we want to meet you.
Responsibilities:
Configures and maintains HCM systems, ensuring proper documentation of processes and procedures and compliance with internal audit procedures and federal and state laws.
Responsible for all People Analytics, creating dashboards and other analytics to inform leadership’s decision making.
Builds roadmaps and project plans for new automations and initiatives for their business partners.
Works closely with People Operations team to support cyclical needs of the department and supports enterprise-wide system projects to grow and develop technology around business needs and improvements.
Acts as the HCM expert (HCM & Payroll) and focused on meeting the needs of business, investigating issues within the system, documenting changes, finding solutions, and growing the system’s ability to serve People Operations Team and business needs.
Configuring and maintaining HR systems, ensuring innovation, automation, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and the company's internal policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Works closely with business leaders to determine needs, trends, problems, solutions, and automations.
Builds relationships with functional area leadership.
Responsible for any large changes within the system, ensuring there are no negative downstream impacts, and all changes are properly tested and documented to ensure a smooth transition.
Stays abreast of System releases as it relates to their functional area, ensuring implementation and testing of any new initiatives or functions that would benefit the business.
Investigate any issues or roadblocks within the HCM systems, finding the root cause and testing and implementing solutions.
Performs HCM system release testing for new functionality.
Partners with People Operations team to ensure their functional area gets the support they need to utilize the HCM system to it’s full capacity.
Acts as subject matter expert related to HCM system in finding solutions and automations.
Protects the company’s assets and financial information by ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of internal control procedures and informing management and/or appropriate officials of potential fraud risk.
Measurable Outcomes: Staying abreast of HCM System release, problem-solving for their functional areas, and automation possibilities, continuously learning new applications and functions in HCM System.
Location: Hybrid in Vienna, VA
Requirements
Experience with leading or participating in the facilitation of an HRIS system change/implementation.
Experience implementing processes and workflow for
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience developing new tools using desktop applications, for example Microsoft Excel and SharePoint, as well as develop and implement processes/procedures.
Experience creating dashboards for leadership to use in decision-making
Working knowledge of other areas of HR including benefits administration, compensation, performance management, recruiting, talent management, leave of absence and processes with systematic mass changes.
Ability to evaluate process effectiveness and develop changes or alternatives.
Ability to research and benchmark best practices as it relates to areas of responsibility.
Ability to develop solutions to complex problems by reviewing related information and evaluating options.
Ability to serve as an effective liaison with finance, Payroll and IT teams for the HR department.
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Information Technology preferred
5+ years of related HRIS experience
Relevant experience in UKG or similar HCMS
Clearance requirements:
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
