Boehringer Ingelheim Senior Quality IT Projectmanager, limited to 5 years in Vienna, Austria

The position

As a Senior Quality IT Projectmanager in our Global Quality team, you will play a pivotal role in the digital transformation of our quality control laboratories at Boehringer Ingelheim. Your expertise in project and change management in the QC laboratories will drive this change primarily for the site Vienna according to our global standards.

Tasks & responsibilities

In your new role, you will

  • Support the development and lead the successful implementation of global laboratory automation systems in Quality at Boehringer Ingelheim local sites.

  • Guide a diverse team of laboratory experts, trainer, or master data managers to successfully implement the global laboratory system solution in the processes at the site Vienna

  • Support the project team with your strong business acumen and effective communication strategies - you collaborate with stakeholders to identify user requirements and ensure process excellence.

  • Collaborate with your team to develop project deliverables and provide solutions within scope, budget, quality, and on time.

  • Support validation of the system to meet GxP and pharmaceutical regulations, and confidently defend it during inspections.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or equivalent experience in fields such as Natural Sciences, Pharmaceutics, Computer Sciences, Information Technology, or Life Sciences.

  • Extensive experience in project management/leadership skills.

  • Strong background in the GxP laboratories of pharmaceutical industry or comparable experiences.

  • Excellent communication skills in English and German.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

The remuneration for this position starts at EUR 70.000 gross annual salary (full time). When defining the actual salary we are taking your technical skills as well as personal competencies and relevant professional experience into consideration.
