Our client, a leading heavy industry company, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their team. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering department supporting CAPEX projects. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, customer-oriented mindset, and experience in project management.

Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Location: Beaumont, Texas

Pay Range: $105k - $115k

What's the Job?

• Execute CAPEX projects from conceptual to detailed engineering, drawings approval, material list, and preparation of specifications for equipment and installation services.

• Support and supervise site installation and erection activities, follow up engineering and construction contractors.

• Prepare equipment and installation services specifications for quote and acquisition.

• Analyze, review and equalize technical proposals, review engineering drawings and designs.

• Coordinate and supervise contractors for site installation and erection activities to ensure that the scope of work is achieved in accordance with the scope of the contract and within the established time frame.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• 5-10 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering and Industrial equipment installation and commissioning.

• Experience in EPC projects and knowledge of Engineering and construction process and planning in steel or similar industries.

• Knowledge of the steel-making process, project management, and contract management.

• Knowledge of IT tools used in Engineering.
