Our client, in steel fabrication is seeking a Casting Supervisor to join their team. As a Casting Supervisor, you will be part of the Casting & Melt Shop team supporting Melt Shop production. The ideal candidate will have Casting, Melt Shop, and Leadership experience will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Casting Supervisor

Location: Beaumont, Texas

Pay Range: $100,000 - $115,000

Position Summary

The Casting Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the casting production process, ensuring a safe, efficient, and high-quality working environment. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Safety and Environmental Compliance:

• Prioritize safety and environmental compliance, ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations and standards.

• Implement and maintain safety programs and procedures.

• Conduct safety inspections and investigations.

• Production Efficiency:

• Optimize production processes to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.

• Monitor production metrics and identify areas for improvement.

• Implement continuous improvement initiatives.

• Quality Assurance:

• Ensure that castings meet or exceed quality standards.

• Conduct quality inspections and audits.

• Implement quality control measures.

• Team Management:

• Lead and motivate a team of casting technicians.

• Provide training and development opportunities.

• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

• Process Standardization:

• Develop and implement standardized procedures for casting operations.

• Ensure compliance with established standards.

• Conduct audits to assess process adherence.

• Cost Control:

• Manage costs related to casting production.

• Identify opportunities for cost reduction.

• Implement cost-saving measures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.

• Proven experience in manufacturing or a similar industry.

• Strong leadership and management skills.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Knowledge of casting processes and equipment.

• Strong safety and environmental awareness.

• Proficiency in relevant software applications.
