JOB REQUIREMENTS: Extreme Engineering Solutions (X-ES), an industry leader in the design, manufacture, and support of embedded computing solutions for compute-intensive applications, is seeking a Software Engineering Manager for our embedded software department. As a Software Engineering Manager at X-ES, you will lead a team of engineers, overseeing the development, integration, and deployment of high-quality software solutions. Your role involves guiding the team through rigorous testing processes, ensuring successful project delivery, and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Duties and Responsibilities Lead and manage software engineering teams by providing mentorship, guidance, and support to foster professional growth Oversee the development and deployment of software systems, ensuring efficient and reliable delivery through best practices Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement processes for building, deploying, and monitoring software Ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions through rigorous testing and verification processes Implement and promote best practices for software development, including automated testing, performance testing, and security testing Drive the adoption of new technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the engineering team Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, promoting open communication and knowledge sharing Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing regular feedback and conducting performance reviews Stay current with industry trends and advancements to keep the team at the forefront of technology ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of seven (7+) years of relevant engineering experience, including two (2+) years in a managerial or leadership role Computer proficiency and a high level of organization with strong attention to detail Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed technical decisions Ability to work onsite from our facility located at 9901 Silicon Prairie Parkway in Verona, WI ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Apply Online: www.xes-inc.com/about/careers/
