Job Title: Medical AssistantJob Description

Join our dedicated team as a Medical Assistant, where you will play a critical role in supporting providers and office staff. Medical Assistants at our facility are multi-skilled and vital partners in delivering quality patient care and enhancing medical office productivity. Your responsibilities will include rooming patients, managing vital intake, conducting patient follow-ups, scheduling appointments, checking patients in and out, restocking rooms, and utilizing an EMR system.

Hard Skills

  • Medical Assistant Diploma through a certified MA program

  • CMA or RMA Certification (preferred)

  • 6+ months of experience using an EMR system

  • 1+ years of experience working in a medical office or urgent care setting

Soft Skills

  • Ability to multi-task and handle a fast-paced environment

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Flexibility and openness to work variable hours

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Vernon, Connecticut.

Work Environment

This role is based in a fast-paced primary care practice, offering a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week with shifts between 8:30AM-5:30PM, Monday to Friday. The dress code includes scrubs and closed-toed shoes. You will be part of a large, well-established healthcare network that provides ample opportunities for growth and development.
