Description

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in Vernon, California. This role is in the manufacturing industry and will mainly involve front desk responsibilities. The location of the workplace is conducive for those seeking to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Must have QuickBooks to be considered for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently managing inbound and outbound calls, providing excellent customer service.

• Handling email correspondence, ensuring timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries.

• Performing data entry tasks with high accuracy, maintaining up-to-date customer records.

• Utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) for various administrative tasks.

• Scheduling appointments and managing calendars, ensuring smooth operations.

• Utilizing QuickBooks for accurate financial record keeping and reporting.

• Ensuring the front desk is manned and all visitors are attended to promptly.

• Assisting in processing customer credit applications, maintaining accurate customer credit records.

• Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate actions as necessary.

• Ensuring all tasks and duties are carried out in accordance with the company's policies and procedures.

Requirements • Minimum of three years of experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word)

• Experience with QuickBooks software

• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to handle both inbound and outbound calls

• Ability to manage email correspondence professionally and effectively

• Strong data entry skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to schedule appointments and manage calendars efficiently

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively

• High school diploma or equivalent required; further education in Office Administration or related field is a plus.
