What YOU Will Do:

  • Apply scientific principles to design, develop, and implement technologies, components, and systems that meet specifications and customer requirements.

  • Capture and protect innovative ideas using applicable IP processes and tools.

  • Provide technical support to engineers, including planning and executing experiments, analyzing data, and producing documentation.

  • Conduct research and perform lab functions such as testing, troubleshooting, and modifying electronic and electro-mechanical devices and systems.

  • Diagnose test setups and equipment, resolve malfunctions, and conduct materials, mechanical, and environmental tests.

  • Assist in training, assigning, and overseeing the work of technical/business support employees.

  • Solve moderately complex problems and adapt new procedures and tools as needed.

    Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience

  • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required

    Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Previous aerospace manufacturing industry experience preferred

  • Previous environmental effects testing experience preferred

The salary range for this role is 44,000 USD - 102,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
