FACILITY ENGINEER- MECHANICAL

*Offer amount will vary on a number of factors including total years of relevant experience, education, specialized training, etc.

*Relocation will be considered for selected candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide engineering support for the operation and maintenance of facilities mechanical systems by working closely with Operations and Maintenance personnel.

• Review operating and maintenance procedures and programs to maximize personnel safety and equipment uptime, while also minimizing operating costs.

• Specify mechanical equipment and components, process set points and alarms and commission new equipment.

• Maintain system sequence of operation and other system specific technical/operating documentation (includes Management of Change, drawings, set points, P&ID’s, etc.)

• Develop project scopes and budgets.

• Manage several small to medium size projects (<$400K) simultaneously (includes contractor selection and oversight).

• Optimize mechanical system energy efficiency, maintenance activities, component lives and process sequences/operations.

• Identify and implement capacity or performance enhancements for existing systems to reduce facility operating expenses.

• Respond to Production requests for support and equipment installations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Facilities Mechanical Systems

• Proficient verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work effectively with multi-disciplined team

• Desire to work in a fast-paced, results oriented environment

• 3+ years in Facilities or Operations support environment

• BS Mechanical Engineering

Preferred Knowledge/ Skills / Experience:

• Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Solid Works a plus

• Experience working in manufacturing, high tech, or semiconductor industry. Not a entry level position

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

Must be able to read, comprehend, and execute complex instructions and safety procedures. Must be able to work in a clean room environment wearing clean room suite, hood, booties, safety glasses and gloves. May require the use of hands to finger, grasp, handle or feel objects, tools and controls. Kneeling, bending and crouching positions, as well as the lifting of parts and use of hand tools in such positions, may be required. Occasionally lifts up to 25 lbs. Must be able to work on a computer for extended periods of time. Frequent sitting for long intervals. Close vision (<2 feet) required. Hazardous chemicals or vapors may be present in work area depending on assignment. Exposure to occasionally loud noise levels. A high degree of safety consciousness is required for all positions at SEH America. Some night and weekend work may be required based on project status.

Qualified candidates must be legally authorized for employment in the United States and will not require SEHA sponsorship for work authorization for hire or for continued employment.

Occasional international travel may be required. Must be able to obtain passport and travel to required destinations.
