Bonneville Power Administration Management and Program Analyst in Vancouver, Washington

Summary This position is located with Bonneville Power Administration, in Transmission Services, Transmission Engineering & Technical Services, Transmission Project Management, Portfolio Execution and Strategy (TEPE). A successful candidate in the Management and Program Analyst position will serve as a senior analyst and technical lead responsible for administrative analytical and evaluative work related to project management activities and issues. Responsibilities As a Management and Program Analyst, you will: Performs a variety of work involving applying analytical processes to the planning, design and implementation of new and improved automated information processes to meet the business requirements. Serves as a senior technical analyst/expert and is responsible for the on-going operation and development of an internal training management function that provides training guidance and information for both new and existing project managers. Serves as a subject matter/functional expert and technical lead in the formulation of the strategy and operational requirements for the development of automated information processes. Negotiates with executive managers, groups within Finance, and program and budget analysts in other organizations and business lines to identify problems areas, recommend needed improvements and assist in program/project implementation. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-12 in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as: Planning, designing and implementing new and improved automated information processes, and developing new and existing training programs. "Experience" refers to paid and unpaid experience. Examples of qualifying unpaid experience may include: volunteer work done through National Service programs (such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps); as well as work for other community-based philanthropic and social organizations. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills; and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Education There are no specific education requirements or substitution of education for experience for this position.
