---Job Description---- * Location: Vancouver, Washington * Type: Contract * Job #8030 Overview: ACS Professional Staffing is looking for an employee to work on-site with our client. This Engineering Project Manager position will oversee and manage multiple projects from start to finish, collaborating with senior management, stakeholders, and external entities. Responsibilities include defining project scope, milestones, resources, and dependencies, facilitating project team meetings, and drafting project plans. The role will also involve tracking project budgets, schedules, and risks, ensuring compliance with documentation standards, and supporting the use of SharePoint and ProjectWise for project management. Strong communication and coordination skills are essential for liaising with teams, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure successful project delivery. This full-time position is located in Vancouver, WA. Pay Rate: $47.44 - $67.62 Benefits: * Paid holidays: 11 * PTO: Starting at 10 days * Sick Leave: Up to 56 hours per year (prorated based on start date) * EAP: Employee Assistance Program * Benefit Options Available: Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA, DCA, LPFSA, HSA, Group Life/AD&D, Voluntary Life/AD&D, Voluntary Short-Term Disability, Voluntary Long-Term Disability, Voluntary Critical Illness, Voluntary Accident, 401k (immediately eligible for employee and employer contributions - employer match up to 4%) * Other benefits include the following: Calm App, Access Perks Responsibilities: * Support and facilitate manager-assigned project or multiple projects, from beginning to end in collaboration with senior management, external industry entities, and stakeholders, providing expert guidance on the PMI-based project management methodology, best practices, and internal skill development including: * Actively engage with the business to properly understand the business needs, identify dependencies, project expectations, milestones, resources, and other initiatives, and assist the manager in deploying the solution. * Identify and request necessary subject matter experts needed during the project. * Coordinate activities for manager-assigned projects that enable goals or objectives to be accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters, escalating any concerns to appropriate manager / personnel. * Facilitate "kick-off" meetings with sponsors, stakeholders, and partners and validate approval/buy in of project plans and commitment of resources. * Schedule and facilitate project team meetings and coordinate activities of sub-teams. * Provide recommendations regarding project expectations, approach, roadmaps, work plans, deliverables, and goals. * Draft project plans, resource strategies and funding estimates required to advance each assigned project / defined effort. * Facilitate project postmortems and create recommendations reports to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements. * As requested, provide project management coordination and assistance to Senior or other group PMs, which may include: * Assist with project tracking and document management. * Serve as POC and resource for use of SharePoint and ProjectWise for project documentation. * Assist with work plan management and resource coordination. * Coordinate with Field Supervisors (FS), Project managers (PM), Design Engineers, District Foreman and other personnel to create and develop logic driven updates to schedules for the transmission projects. * Project tracking and document management tasks include: * Monitor the milestones, schedule, and budget to keep project on track and on budget.
