ACS Professional Staffing is looking for an employee to work on-site with our client. This Electronic Engineer - Telecom position will provide professional engineering expertise to implement management-approved projects, support field maintenance crews, and conduct related engineering activities. Additionally, this role involves leading teams to research and test equipment, developing technical specifications, and managing contracts. This full-time position is located in Vancouver, WA. Pay Rate: $39.23 - $56.05 Benefits: * Paid holidays: 11 * PTO: Starting at 10 days * Sick Leave: Up to 56 hours per year (prorated based on start date) * EAP: Employee Assistance Program * Benefit Options Available: Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA, DCA, LPFSA, HSA, Group Life/AD&D, Voluntary Life/AD&D, Voluntary Short-Term Disability, Voluntary Long-Term Disability, Voluntary Critical Illness, Voluntary Accident, 401k (immediately eligible for employee and employer contributions - employer match up to 4%) * Other benefits include the following: Calm App, Access Perks Responsibilities: * Perform required scoping and design work for capital projects, based on analysis of engineering and design requirements, project parameters, and technical information from multiple sources. * Perform simulation studies with assistance from TENP Subject Matter Expert(s), and document findings in formal reports. * Participate on teams to research and test telecommunication and related equipment. * Assist in development of requirements for technical specifications for procurement and construction of telecommunications systems and equipment. Provide technical support in the administration of material contracts and project management of turnkey system contracts under the direction of the manager, Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), or Contracting Officer (CO). * With oversight and approval from staff, prepare detailed scoping, design, material, or procurement specifications for equipment, verifying that technical tradeoffs have been considered and that decisions conform to existing policies and standards and are within budgetary constraints. * Apply standard telecommunications guides and design templates to scope and design assigned projects. * Assist in the preparation of new design templates, standards, and specifications for approval by staff, as needed when existing documentation does not cover the requirements of the project. * Prepare comprehensive final scoping and design packages for assigned projects, including final detailed design drawings, draft statements of work (contract design, construction, and contract), and all other documents for the telecommunication equipment installation, layout, wiring and testing for review and approval by the manager. * Prepare equipment settings sheets and all other documentation required to complete the design packages associated with assigned projects. * Provide manager with material and equipment requirements for design projects and assists in preparing material requisitions; in conjunction with the COR, initiate and coordinate timely acquisition and delivery of project equipment and materials as approved by the manager. * Perform comprehensive reviews of finished designs.
