ASML Electrical Engineer in Vancouver, Washington

Introduction EO Technical Solutions (EOT) is a parts repair organization based in Vancouver Washington that was acquired by ASML in 2023. EOT is a small organization (currently 25 FTE) focused on the PAS (Process Automation System) platform. It's repair portfolio consists of more than 200 different parts. Besides parts repair, EOT also provides customer training, customer field support, and has its own clean room onsite. EOT repairs a broad range of parts and is continuously expanding and optimizing its repair portfolio. With the foreseen growth and expansion of repair scope and volume EOT is looking for a Electrical Engineer to strengthen the team. The Electrical Engineer is responsible for repairing PCB's and integrated sub-assemblies and support the development of repair and diagnostic procedures. In addition, this role includes working together with various levels of professionals both within EOT as the rest of ASML, such as D&E, Sourcing, Logistics & Marketing Roles and Responsibilities PCB component level diagnostics and replacement/repair Diagnose and repair electrical mechanical systems (e.g. robots) Specify and acquire replacement components for obsolete electronic components Establish or optimize repair procedures for repair technicians Develop Bill of Materials for efficient board assembly repair Collaborate with tool engineers to ensure efficient and proper repairs Remain current on technology trends related to PCB design processes and tools Education and experience Bachelor or Masters in Electrical Engineering or similar technical field. Minimum 5 years' experience performing component level troubleshooting, and repair. Minimum 1 year experience with NEC 1591, 9526, 9527, comparable branch specific MOSs or IPC-J-STD-001 and IPC-7711/7721 certifications.
