Riverview Community Bank Director of Operations and Digital Integration in Vancouver, Washington

SUMMARY

Responsible for coordination and participation in the development, implementation and monitoring of bank operations procedures. Also responsible for bank wide reliable, effective and efficient technology, and ensuring operational processes are efficient, effective, and aligned with the overall strategic goals.

The salary for this role will be between $108,202k -$162,303k a year. The specific salary offered will depend on several factors including but not limited to applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience. Hired candidate may be eligible for healthcare benefits, 401K plan, short term & long-term disability coverage, life insurance, vacation & sick time, educational assistance, and several holidays. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Facilitate communication and collaboration across departments to ensure alignment and coordination of activities. Serve as a liaison between operational teams and senior management, conveying progress, challenges, and recommendations.

Supervise Operations, Item Processing, Office Services, and Facilities departments including staff and budgets, and ensure effective and efficient delivery.

1.

Continuously analyze operational processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality. Implement changes to optimize workflows and procedures.

1.

Provide technical and operational support regarding system software selections, uses, and training to branches and departments.

1.

Recommend, develop and monitor standardized policies and procedures to increase operational efficiency.

1.

Coordinate the item processing relationship between Service Bureau, Federal Reserve Bank, and numerous vendors and Riverview in delivering products and services that enhance/maintain our competitiveness.

1.

Assist with plans for maintenance, remodel and construction of bank facilities.

1.

Lead or participate in project teams - including bank employees and managers, computer support, marketing, human resources and outside vendors.

1.

Provide input into the development and promote the vision for present and future technology needs ensuring the ability to be a strong marketplace competitor, and create cost effective efficiencies within the organization.

Manage merger and acquisition issues regarding system conversions, telecom, facilities, etc.

1.

Provide leadership and direction to operational teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Set clear expectations, provide guidance, and support professional development initiatives.

Follow all Riverview policies and procedures.

RELATIONSHIPS

- Periodic contact with Supervisor for consultation.

- Daily contact with branches/departments to provide assistance and support

- Periodic contact with customers and prospective customers providing assistance to fulfill banking needs

- Periodic contact with service bureau and vendors as a business consumer.

- Occasional contact with members of professions with whom the incumbent must consult from time to time, i.e. attorneys, accountants, and other financial intermediaries.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES : Directly supervise 7 or more employees. Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems while maintaining a positive work environment.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE : Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; and 10+ years leading an operations team; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

SKILLS:

· Must have the ability to perform system analysis related to Operations systems and be able to project and respond to the needs of those utilizing the system.

· Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

· Ability to write reports and business correspondence.

· Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

· Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

· Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form in a timely manner.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to effectively communicate via phone/video, messaging, and email. The employee is required to use computer and office equipment such as a computer, printer, copier, as well as computer software such as Microsoft Office. You may also frequently be required to occupy a workstation for long periods of time.
