Location: Vancouver, Washington * Type: Contract * Job #8041 Overview: ACS Professional Staffing is looking for an employee to work on-site with our client. This Data Steward position will be responsible for managing data entry into relational databases, overseeing centralized mail inboxes, and coordinating the management of organizational incident lists and PWA organizations. The role involves researching data inconsistencies, providing maintenance and generating reports for various organizational databases, and assisting with the drafting of business data rules and standard operating procedures. Additional responsibilities include supporting team members with data management tasks, maintaining filing systems, and providing administrative support to management. This full-time position is located in Vancouver, WA. This work may include train and/or assist users on use of the PWA application. * Research missing data points and data quality issues in various electronic records locations to locate missing data or to correct inconsistencies. * Provide maintenance, track, and report for a variety of organizational databases; produce routine, management, and ad hoc reports as requested. * Coordinate reporting needs with TEBO Business Analysts. * Assist agency Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to draft, write, and recommend business data rules. * Provide input and recommendations for potential process / procedural improvements. * Assist the manager and staff to draft Standard Operating Procedures, governance, and internal control procedures as changes and processes occur; assist and promote implementation of management-approved process and procedural changes. * Draft data dictionary by analyzing data, maintaining spreadsheet(s), and drafting procedural documents as requested. * Provide data management support to team members as requested by manager, which may include train and assist with use of technology, disseminate procedural change information, etc. * Create Tier III Manager monthly data compliance reporting communications. * Mark documents and maintain filing system(s), files, emails and records in accordance with compliance requirements. Share and disperse documents only to appropriate personnel (those with a Lawful Government Purpose (LGP) to know). Mark and maintain all official records in accordance with the Information Security (INFOSEC) and Information Governance & Lifecycle Management (IGLM) standards and procedures.
