We are seeking an experienced and well-rounded Engineering Manager to lead various engineering projects, foster staff development, and contribute to business development initiatives. This individual will have knowledge and experience in a wide range of areas including public works, water resources, business development, and technical team development. This position will also play a pivotal role in the management and growth of our engineering practice, ensuring project excellence while cultivating client relationships and driving strategic opportunities.

Responsibilities
Business Development:
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships. Serve as the primary point of contact for new and existing clients, addressing their needs and ensuring satisfaction.
- Lead Generation & Acquisition: Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified opportunities by cultivating contacts, networking, and leveraging industry resources to generate new leads.
- Proposal Development: Collaborate with technical and business development teams to prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations that meet client needs and align with company goals.
- Strategic Partnerships: Establish and nurture partnerships with other organizations, stakeholders, and industry associations to increase the firm's visibility and potential market share.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments, including marketing, project management, and engineering, to ensure the successful execution of business strategies and client projects.
- Brand Representation: Represent the firm at conferences, industry events, and networking opportunities to enhance the company's profile and identify potential business prospects.
Project Management / Team Development:
- Work collaboratively with HR to support recruitment, retention, and career development initiatives that align with company goals.
- Oversee the planning and completion of various engineering projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address project challenges, optimize resources, and achieve client satisfaction.
- Implement and maintain project management best practices to support continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
