Providence St. Joseph Health Associate Customer Care Coordinator *Remote* in Vancouver, Washington
Description Providence Health Plan is calling an Associate Customer Care Coordinator who will: Serve as a member of a service team that supports multiple regions with a primary purpose to provide Health Plan customers outstanding, seamless service in a call center-based team environment Be Responsible for the first line of communication with a variety of customers, including existing and potential members, providers, internal departments and employers Provide detailed benefit quotes Review eligibility and premium information on a broad portfolio of products Assist members in selecting medical homes and primary care physicians Educate members and providers in the appropriate use of health plan and clinic services Research and respond to claims and authorization inquiries Maintain knowledge of complex custom networks Resolve customer issues and concerns Possess a calm demeanor and ability to remain focused, professional and utilize training to direct callers in crisis Please note the following important details regarding this role: This posting is for multiple openings of an Associate Customer Care Coordinator Providence Health Plan is hiring for the following specialty customer support groups: Commercial Medicare These positions are affiliated with Providence Health Plan and will be tied to a location and compensation range in Beaverton, Oregon Work Week: Monday - Friday Work Shift: 8am-5pm Training Requirements: This position will require onsite presence for training, 3 days per week Onsite work days are defined by manager and training departmental needs Initial Training Period: 8-12 weeks Training period may extend for a longer period of time based upon performance Pay Differential for Fluent Bi-Lingual English / Spanish speaking individuals based upon meeting language testing requirements and performance Providence welcomes applicants to apply that live within a daily commutable distance (20-30 miles) of the following office location: Oregon: Beaverton Required qualifications for this position include: 2 years' experience working in a high-pressure customer facing service environment with a proven track record of learning and applying complex concepts Combined customer service experience may be defined as follows: 2 Years: Customer Service within a Healthcare Setting 2 Years: Healthcare: High Volume Call Center 2 Years: Healthcare: Claims 2 Years: Healthcare: Medical Billing / Insurance Verification 2 Years: Healthcare: Insurance Policy Support 2 Years: Healthcare: Benefits Advocacy 2 Years: Healthcare: Benefits 2 Years: Healthcare: Administrative Office 2 Years: Healthcare: Patient Care Services 2 Years: Banking 2 Years: Retail 2 Years: Healthcare: Certified Nursing Assistant 2 Years: Healthcare: Medical Assistant 2 Years: Healthcare: Home Health and Hospice 2 Years: Healthcare: Pharmacy 2 Years: Healthcare: Nutrition Services Preferred qualifications for this position include: Bilingual: Fluent in both Spanish and English Experience working in an office setting Experience working in a health care environment Call center customer service experience Why Join Providence Health Plan?
