WHAT IS EXPECTED OF ME IN THIS ROLE

The Associate Director of Sales is an experienced senior level sales role that reports directly to the Director of Sales & Marketing. Responsibilities include themanaging and leading the sales staff as well as managing select key accounts. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to the mentoring and training sales colleagues, recruitment and hiring of sales colleagues, leading sales meetings, working with catering and convention services, involvement with the annual business plan process, forecasting, owners meetings, systems training, report analysis, P&L management, business travel and tradeshows, customer entertainment, community involvement and networking. This position may be required to serve as Director in the absence of the Director of Sales & Marketing.

Salary range: 100,000 - 119,000 annually

Qualifications:

EXPERIENCE

· 3 years or more in a senior role of Sales in a large upscale full-service hotel preferably with knowledge of local, national, North American and international markets

· Demonstrated history of success

· Results driven, energetic and focused

· Service oriented style with professional presentation skills

· Possess the following strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, proven track record in high volume environment, excellent communicator, effective in providing exceptional customer service and ability to improve the bottom line

· Clear concise written and verbal communication skills

· Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and general computer skills
