Position Overview :

This position will require travel throughout Western Canada!

Under the general supervision of the Canadian Division Leadership Team, the Dedicated Regional Trainer (DRT) leads a group of District Dedicated Trainers in the development and coaching of auditors. The DRT will work with assigned DDTs to help move hourly employees through productivity expectations and ongoing ASET development. Through strong people leadership skills, the DRT will work with their team and senior leadership to drive positive results in a people- first environment. The DRT leads with passion, integrity, and a drive to succeed, while facing challenges with a solution oriented can-do attitude. Essential Responsibilities :

  • Continue as a key member of the Region/Division Leadership Team

  • As a blended role, the DRT is required to maintain all job responsibilities of their current role in conjunction with the new added responsibilities of the DRT.

  • Responsible for the onboarding, training, developing and evaluating performance of Dedicated District Trainers on their team.

  • The DRT will ensure all training programs be executed to established standards, while assisting in planning and implementation.

  • Provide summary training reports to the Regional Director and District Managers as needed.

  • Conduct and participate in weekly, bi-weekly and/or monthly calls with field leadership, including the DDT team

  • Responsible for coaching, training and ongoing leadership of the DDT Team to ensure all members of the team are meeting and exceeding their goals.

  • Remain knowledgeable and able to articulate company goals, processes and procedures in a positive, productive and professional manner.

  • Assist DDTs where needed in facilitating IA new hire training, new hire check-ins, graduate counters into the higher ASET levels, and continue ongoing skill development.

  • Be the main point of contact for the DDT group by District while they acclimate to their role

  • Participate in ongoing development training conference calls to update Regional Director and District Managers on training results

  • Develops hourly employees by identifying top talent and coaching lower performers

  • Identifies and develops employees for bench building potential, including but not limited to Supervisors and Leadership roles

  • Participates in and leads Employee Engagement strategies to further increase overall employee happiness and retention

  • Identifies organizational gaps and makes recommendations for improvement

Required Qualifications & Skills :

  • Bachelor’s degree; an equivalent of training and experience may be considered in lieu of degree

  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in recruitment, training, onboarding, or operations

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization

  • Must possess a passion for people with the ability to show empathy and compassion to our team members

  • Strong drive to see positive results through training efforts

  • Thorough understanding of WIS policies, procedures, and training materials

  • Advanced presentation and communication skills

  • Strong Time Management Skills

Working Conditions :

This position requires frequent travel via automobile and plane. Must have the ability to adapt to changing working conditions, such as standing and sitting for long periods of time, as well as frequent walking. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Must be able to work 10-12 hour shifts regularly.
