The Quality Inspector for Cytiva Nanomedicine is responsible for reviewing inbound materials and identifying areas of improvement for existing products.

This position is part of the Quality team located in Vancouver, Canada and will be onsite. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

What you'll do:

  • Monitor, inspect, and approve incoming materials and in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, documenting inspection reports and logs, returning and confirming products for re-work.

  • Keeps measurement equipment operational by following operating instructions and calibration requirements.

  • Recommend product improvements and changes to the production processes to improve Quality and educate your production colleagues.

Who you are:

  • Degree in Life Sciences or equivalent experience in Quality in a similar ISO-regulated/GMP business industry. Requires 3+ years of experience in a QA/QC role in a regulated environment.

  • Problem-solving and results-driven approach. Efficient organizational skills, including managing multiple processes and priorities effectively.

  • Excellent verbal communication, technical writing and interpersonal skills. Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications.

    It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Experience with Metrology, Measurement System Analysis (MSA), Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)

  • Quality Inspector Certification (CQI)

The salary range for this role is 60,000-70,000 CAD/year. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay. We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and retirement planning benefits to eligible employees.
