Insight Global Project Leader in Vancouver, British Columbia

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Project Leader, Real Estate & Construction to join one of BC's leading health authorities.

The Project Leader is responsible for overseeing and supporting feasibility, design and implementation of facilities enablement projects across the health authority ranging from $500 thousand to $50 million. Responsibilities include leadership and oversight of large project teams of internal staff and contractors. The position requires strict understanding and adherence to procurement policy, cost tracking, decisions tracking and making recommendations and decisions on technical scope considerations. This resource will be required to be onsite 4/5 days a week in their Vancouver office and flexible to project site visits.

Skills and Requirements

-Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration or in a field related to the specific project(s)

-Experience in financial analysis, project planning/management and technical expertise relating to the specific project(s).

-Comprehensive technical expertise, project/process management, financial analytical skills and business acumen.

-Effectively and accurately responds to the needs of stakeholders and is acutely aware of the impact of decisions and actions on the organization and various stakeholders.

-Strong verbal and written communication as well as facilitation skills to work effectively in a team setting and with a variety of stakeholders.

-Demonstrated knowledge of current advanced word processing, graphics presentation, and spreadsheet computer applications to prepare reports and presentations.

-Results-oriented within a high-pressure working environment with numerous critical timelines. Knowledge of healthcare information systems

Experience in clinical environments within Canada

Experience working within Mechanical environment null
