MeeT Restaurants Prep Lead/Supervisor in Vancouver, British Columbia
Position open at our Gastown Location!!
Guaranteed $22.5-$25 an hour as your starting wage!
$18.5-$21 an hour plus a GUARANTEED minimum tipshare of $4 an hour in tips = $22.5-$25 an hour starting compensation!

What you'll do:
Follow recipes with care and focus on creating large batch sauces, dressings, marinades etc
Use your creativity to make mouth-watering weekly rotating soups
Work closely with the Kitchen Manager to create enticing weekly food features
Lead your TeeM of Prep Cooks and put together balanced lists of daily tasks
Work alongside the Kitchen Manager to manage inventory and ordering
Train and engage new employees
Promote MeeT's culture of compassion, inclusivity, and fun with enthusiasm and pride.

Resourceful and well-organized with a sense of urgency
Has an attention to detail and ability to follow recipes
Looks to help everyone around them grow
Works effectively independently and in a team environment
Able to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
Strong interpersonal and troubleshooting skills
Remains calm, maintains perspective, and responds in a professional manner when faced with tough situations
Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds
Able to stand for up to 10 hours
Minimum 2 years kitchen prep experience
1-year kitchen leadership experience
