We are looking for Pipelayers and Pipelayer Helpers for a local position with daily OT paying up to $40/hr

Job Description

We are seeking to hire Pipelayers and Pipelayer Helpers to join our team. The company is a respected provider of civil construction services based in Delta, BC. Services encompass a broad range of civil construction tasks including underground utility installations, repairs and maintenance, site grading, road works, in-stream works, mass wall construction, structural drainage, and excavation. As a Pipelayer, you will be responsible for interpreting drawings, specifications, and technical drawings, installing civil utility components such as PVC SDR, C900 and Ductile Iron Pipe for storm, sanitary and water systems, and the installation of manholes, headwalls, catch basins, lawn basins, and other pre-cast structures. You will also coordinate with the Grademan, Equipment Operator, and Topman to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3-5 years' experience as a pipelayer within the Civil division

• Experience installing sanitary, storm, water piping systems as well as manholes, headwalls, and catch basins

• Able to interpret drawings/specification

• Ability to get to different sites across the lower mainland

• Ability to work 5 or 6 days a week, 8+ hours per day

Payrate:

• Pipelayer Helper: $27/hr - $32/hr

• Pipelayer: $35/hr - $40/hr

Shift:

• Monday - Friday

• Saturdays often available (site dependent)

• Start time is generally 7:00am

• Typically working 8-10 hour days

• OT after 8 hours daily and 40 hours weekly
