Job Title: Interior Foreman

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Interior Foreman to join our commercial tenant improvement team. You will be overseeing a team of up to 12 people and subcontractors on a 7-floor commercial renovation project. The role involves taking the project back to a white box state and installing a modular white box. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential, as you will need to work well with others and hit the ground running.

Responsibilities

• Oversee up to 12 team members and subcontractors during the renovation project.

• Manage the project from a white box state to the installation of a modular white box.

• Ensure project deadlines and quality standards are met.

• Read blueprints and perform layout work.

• Maintain compliance with QCQA standards.

• Utilize a tablet for project management tasks.

Essential Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a carpenter.

• 2+ years of experience on a commercial tenant improvement project.

• Proven ability to oversee up to 12 people.

• Ability to read blueprints and perform layout work.

• Familiarity with QCQA standards.

• Comfortable using a tablet for project management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.

Work Environment

Work alongside 12 other team members and various subcontractors. The project is located in downtown Vancouver and involves inside work. You will report directly to the site superintendent. Personal protective equipment (6" steel-toe boots, safety glasses, high-visibility vest, hard hat) is required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vancouver, British Columbia.
