What you can expect to do here:

  • You will work on a wide variety of geo-environmental and hydrogeological investigations

  • You will support Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, including data review, site reconnaissance and report writing

  • You will support Phase II Environmental Site Assessments including drilling, borehole logging, and sample collection, groundwater development, and groundwater sampling

  • You will support remedial activities including supervision, post-completion monitoring and stockpile testing

  • You will support geological, hydrogeological, and contaminant data compilation, interpretation, and reporting

What you’ll bring to WSP:

  • Currently enrolled in a geological, civil or environmental engineering or science program at an accredited university

  • Experience in the assessment and remediation of contaminated sites (soil, groundwater, and soil vapour sample collection) is an asset

  • Experience in problem solving with industry standard commercial computer software

  • Strong technical skills

  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)

  • Strong people skills and an ability to work in a team environment

  • Flexible and adaptable with the ability to operate in both field and office environments

  • Valid driver’s license

Compensation

Expected Salary (all locations): $20.50/hr - $31.25/hr
