EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED IN THIS CLASSIFICATION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, THE FOLLOWING TASKS. THESE TASKS MAY BE AMENDED OR OTHER TASKS MAY BE ASSIGNED AS NECESSARY.

  • Continuously reviews stockage levels and spares availability to assure contract compliance.

  • Interfacing with the Operating Command and T-1A Program Office.

  • Establishing priorities and scheduling work assignments for COMBS personnel.

  • Actively enforcing the company’s EEO/Affirmative Action Program.

  • Approving promotions of COMBS personnel.

  • Managing and coordinating activities of others who collect data and maintain control systems and records to operate an efficient level of inventory for COMBS.

  • Coordinating with other supervisors to ensure that resources necessary to complete tasks are available.

  • Actively enforcing all company rules, regulations and policies.

  • Enforcing established safety procedures and providing safety training as required.

  • Ensuring on-the-job training is being conducted and documented.

  • Approving recommendations for wage increases, job status changes, etc.

  • Manages the establishment of the COMBS operations.

  • Manages continuing COMBS operations to include personnel and material availability.

  • Coordinates processes and procedures for COMBS operations.

  • Analyzes material data to determine effectiveness of the material effort.

  • Establishes priorities and schedules work assignments.

  • Increases the technical competence of site personnel through on-the-job training and also by encouraging employees to participate in outside instructional opportunities.

  • Reviews performance and conducts evaluations for site personnel as required.

  • Reviews and resolves matters of employee complaints, directs and ensures opportunity for further assistance as required.

  • Greets visitors and clients.

  • Exhibits positive courteous behavior with customers, businesses and co-workers.

  • Follows all safety procedures and practices as established by the Company and regulatory bodies.

  • This job has supervisory responsibilities.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND OTHER CHARACTERISTICS:

Knowledge of the following is required:

  • generally accepted accounting principles sufficient to perform the job, duties, and tasks associated with the position;

  • contractual requirements

  • extensive working knowledge in logistics and data information systems.

Graduation from a standard four (4) year high school or equivalent (GED) and a minimum of five (5) years experience in general logistics management and data information systems.

Airframe & Powerplant License preferred
