Job Title: Associate, Integration/Test Engineering (System Test Engineer)
Job Location: Van Nuys, CA Job Description:
Integration & Test Engineer is responsible for supporting the Lead Integration & Test Engineer with the generation of integration plans, procedures, interconnect cabling and diagrams. Responsible for planning the lower-level details regarding sequences and processes. Responsible for troubleshooting failures of the tests, based on test plan inputs provided by the SEIT lead and test architect. Responsible for completion of specific test configuration details, test procedure development, implementation & checkout of STE, test sets & test set software checkout, analysis tools evaluation. This position may require time spent onboard ship/craft under construction and underway to support site integration activities. Some travel will be required.
Essential Functions:
Support the overall process for how subassemblies get integrated and tested into an entire system.
Responsible for completion of specific test configuration details, test procedure development, implementation & checkout of STE, test sets & test set software checkout, analysis tools evaluation.
Responsible for supporting the Lead Test Engineer & System Test Architect with the generation of test plans, procedures, testing, report generation and gathering of objective evidence for requirement verification.
Perform integration and test activities for radar and electronic warfare (EW) systems.
Identify risks & opportunities for specific test activities.
Oversee and assist in the performance of the installation of repaired equipment in various settings, such as industrial and military establishments.
Consult with Field and other engineers to plan layout of equipment and to resolve problems in system operations and maintenance.
Qualifications:
Pursing a Bachelor’s Degree
Preferred Additional Skills:
Excellent organization skills.
Effective communication skills in a collaborative team environment.
Effective electronics and RF hardware troubleshooting skills.
Familiarity with Boundary Scan/LabVIEW/MATLAB/other tools for instrument control.
Experience with OSHA requirements and ESD best practices.
Professional background in RF or Digital engineering (MW MCAs, FPGAs, CCAs, PWBs, etc.).
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado and New York State is $66,000.00 - $122,000.00. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
