Community Health Systems Patient Care Tech - ED - Full Time Days in VALPARAISO, Indiana

The Nursing Assistant (NA) assists licensed nursing personnel in the provision of nursing care. They will complete their tasks/duties under the supervision & direction of an assigned Registered Nurse (RN) and/or the Charge RN. The NA works with and supports the nursing team in providing services, which meets the patient's & unit needs. The NA is able to render care in accordance with their skills, ability, and competencies to our patient population, thus may be required to float to other units.

Nursing Assistant Full Time, Position in the Emergency Department at Northwest Health - Porter Hospital

  • Full time: 36 hours per week / 12 hour shifts

  • Eligible for shift differential

About this unit:

The ED, has multi-functional treatment rooms for patients with varied conditions. There is a continued commitment to keep wait times to a minimum through the 30-Minutes-Or-Less. Nurses may providecare for everything from cuts and broken bones to life-threatening conditions such as heart attack or stroke.
