Maintenance Electrician

An establish manufacturing company located in Valparaiso, IN is seeking multiple maintenance electricians to join their team. 401k and insurance benefits are offered immediately once hired.

Previous experience in PLC troubleshooting and electrical wiring is required.

Description:

• Troubleshooting and PM's on industrial equipment including overhead cranes, conveyors, furnaces, generators and lighting circuits

• Swapping out and replacing 480 V, AC/DC motors

• Troubleshoot circuit breakers and transformers

• Troubleshoot Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC's

• Interpret blueprints and schematics

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of industrial electrician or manufacturing

• Read and interpret electrical schematics

• 480V wiring

• PLC troubleshooting experience

Environment:

Training provided for the first few months. The environment is an enclosed, temperature-regulated industrial building with milling and lathe machines. It is well-lit and relatively clean for an industrial setting. Certain areas can be loud, but overall, it is one of the cleanest machine shops in NW Indiana.

Shift: shifts rotating weekly: 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am.
