Job Title: Welder

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled welder proficient in TIG and Flux core welding to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for prepping and welding structural assemblies for life boats, ensuring that all components are accurately positioned and clamped in holding fixtures and turntables.

Responsibilities

• Perform all position welding on structural assemblies in accordance with welding requirements and dimensional and alignment specifications.

• Position and clamp components in holding fixtures or on turntables to weld the products.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in TIG and Flux core welding.

• Experience with MIG welding.

• Ability to read and interpret welding blueprints.

• Skill in welding steel.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Work Environment

This position operates within a casual manufacturing environment. Candidates are required to provide their own welding gear. The working hours are from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Valley Center, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.00/hr.
