Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Safety Supervisor to join their team. As a Safety Supervisor, you will be part of the Safety, Health, and Environmental department supporting a culture of safety and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a problem-solving mindset, and interpersonal savvy which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Safety Supervisor

Location: Valley, Alabama

Pay Range: $70,000 - $75,000 with 10% KPI performance-based bonus

What's the Job?

• Assist with leading the Safety, Health, and Environmental functions, ensuring a safe and incident-free work environment.

• Develop and conduct training and safety meetings to promote organizational safety.

• Work with the Safety Manager to revise and update safety programs.

• Perform inspections and assessments, recommending improvements for safety practices.

• Assist with investigating near misses, injuries, and safety events to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

What's Needed?

• Associate degree in occupational health and safety or relevant discipline.

• 3 years of experience in a similar safety environment.

• Strong communication, teamwork, and analytical skills.

• Experience with OSHA regulations and safety compliance.

• Intermediate computer skills with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
