ManpowerGroup Safety Supervisor in Valley, Alabama
Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Safety Supervisor to join their team. As a Safety Supervisor, you will be part of the Safety, Health, and Environmental department supporting a culture of safety and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a problem-solving mindset, and interpersonal savvy which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Safety Supervisor
Location: Valley, Alabama
Pay Range: $70,000 - $75,000 with 10% KPI performance-based bonus
What's the Job?
Assist with leading the Safety, Health, and Environmental functions, ensuring a safe and incident-free work environment.
Develop and conduct training and safety meetings to promote organizational safety.
Work with the Safety Manager to revise and update safety programs.
Perform inspections and assessments, recommending improvements for safety practices.
Assist with investigating near misses, injuries, and safety events to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
What's Needed?
Associate degree in occupational health and safety or relevant discipline.
3 years of experience in a similar safety environment.
Strong communication, teamwork, and analytical skills.
Experience with OSHA regulations and safety compliance.
Intermediate computer skills with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
