Our client, a leading food manufacturing company, is seeking a Plant Manager to join their team. As a Plant Manager, you will be part of the Operations department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience in further processing, and a track record of driving continuous improvement.

Job Title: Plant Manager

Location: Valley, Alabama

Pay Range: $120,000 - $220,000 annually with quarterly bonus (60% based on KPIs and 40% on EBITA)

What's the Job?

• Lead all plant activities at our RTE poultry processing facility in Valley, AL

• Oversee daily operations of the plant from production and manufacturing to ensuring policies and procedures are followed

• Develop processes that will maximize stewardship, safety, quality, culture, customer relations, and productivity

• Coordinate the activities of all departments utilizing excellent communication and developing efficient production methods

• Recommend and research capital improvements to improve efficiency, quality, or safety

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 10 years management experience in a RTE poultry processing plant manufacturing environment

• Bachelor's degree in management or another related field preferred

• Possess excellent leadership skills

• High level knowledge in RTE poultry processing equipment, GMPs, HACCP, OSHA and plant safety practices

• Strong ERP systems knowledge and understand MRP, and material control & inventory transaction reporting
