We are offering a job opportunity as a Controller in the system integration sector, located in Vallejo, California. This role is built on a contract basis, where you will be managing financial operations, performing analysis, and overseeing complex government projects. You will be working closely with both internal and external auditors, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded, filed, and reported.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems, ensuring compliance with Governmental Accounting Standard Boards Principles, regulatory requirements, and professional standards.

• Working closely with internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits.

• Ensuring that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.

• Performing consistent and timely reconciliation of all accounts.

• Reviewing ad hoc reports to ensure accuracy.

• Applying knowledge of Auditing, Budget Processes, Federal Government, Federal Government Contracts, Audit - Financial, Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation, Ledger Account Reconciliation, Ledger Reconciliations, and System Integration.

Requirements

• Candidate must have a minimum of seven years' experience in a Controller role or similar position.

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential.

• • Auditing skills are required.

• Experience with City Government contracts is necessary.

• Knowledge of Audit - Financial procedures is required.

• Must be proficient in Account Reconciliation.

• Experience with Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation is necessary.

• Familiarity with Ledger Account Reconciliation is required.

• Proficiency in Ledger Reconciliations is necessary.

• Experience with System Integration is required.
