Fujifilm Assistant Product Manager in Valhalla, New York
Overview
The Assistant Product Manager will report to the Product Manager and assist in managing product throughout the product life cycle, from development to launch. The position will support the team to drive to the Sales Budget and delivering target profitability aligned to division goals. The Assistant Product Manager will assist the Product Team with various aspects of product management including:
Market Research
Category & Competitive Analysis
Product Feature Prioritization
Project Coordination
Stakeholder Communications
The Assistant Product Manager will help to identify new market opportunities and new customers; help with product deployment planning for new markets and help with product and financial analysis.Additional responsibilities will include documenting product processes and GTM requirements, reporting on product promotions and performance indicators and help track department goals. In addition, the role will require monitoring inventory, assisting the sales team with product needs, and working with vendors to support product launches.
FUJIFILM North America Corporation, a marketing subsidiary of FUJIFILM Holdings America Corporation, consists of six operating divisions. The Imaging Division provides consumer and commercial photographic products and services, including silver halide consumables; inkjet consumables; digital printing equipment, along with service and support; personalized photo products fulfillment; film; one-time-use cameras; and the popular INSTAX® line of instant cameras, smartphone printers, instant film, and accessories . The Electronic Imaging Division markets its GFX System and X Series lines of mirrorless digital cameras, lenses, and accessories to provide a variety of content creation solutions for both still and moving imagery. The Optical Devices Division provides optical lenses for the broadcast, cinematography, closed circuit television, videography, and industrial markets, and also markets binoculars and other optical imaging solutions. The Graphic Communication Division utilizes its extensive industry knowledge to develop fully supported traditional and digital print solutions for industries including commercial print, wide format, and packaging with its comprehensive line of digital inkjet presses, production toner printers, and software. The Industrial Products Division delivers new products derived from Fujifilm technologies including data storage tape products, including OEM and FUJIFILM Ultrium LTO cartridges, desalination solutions, microfilters and gas separation membranes. The Non-Destructive Testing Division delivers radiography solutions to ensure high accuracy inspection of transportation infrastructure, and assets within aerospace, and oil and gas industries.

Responsibilities
Process no-charge product requeststhat support retailer selection or marketing programs
Initiate all instax product set ups in SAP inclusive of material numbers and product pricing
Create and distribute new product announcements, bulletins on instant savings promotions and new productupdates to field as necessary
Maintain Promotional Calendar and update with promotional offers
Enter MAP changes into Hubvision system; work with MAP Administrator/Legal on distributing MAP updates
Assist with creation of account specific line review decks for key account meetings
Collaborate with sales teams on account needs/requests
Assist with the launch of new products, sample mailings and POSmaterials into the market; working with outside vendors, warehouse, SCM team as necessary to successfully launch products in market
Analyze competitive products in marketand provide report of findings on a bimonthly basis
Track all key projects for the department to aid in efficient and organized documentation
Required Skills/Education
Undergraduate degree, 2-3 years relevant work experience in consumer product marketing
Basic understanding of product lifecycle management
Superb verbal and written communication skills
Working knowledge and/or collaboration with SCM teams
Strong organizational and multi-tasking capabilities
Strong project management and cross functional collaboration skills
Proven ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Ability to work with international teams effortlessly
Ability to be flexible with ever-changing timelines and deadlines.
Broad understanding of the consumer and competitive dynamics of the brand.
Desired Skills
