Job title: F&B Manager/Director

Report to : General Manager and Resort manager

Job objective

The Conrad Bora Bora Nui 5* hotel, located in French Polynesia, recruits to ensure the quality of its services a/a F&B Director/Actress.

Under the direction of the General Manager and the Resort Manager, you will be in charge of managing the daily operations of the Catering department including kitchens, three restaurants, three bars as well as room service and events.

Creative(ive), you develop ideas to promote the Polynesian culture within your department and maximize your income.

You manage the points of sale on human, technical and administrative levels, in compliance with the instructions and procedures established by the Management and Conrad standards.

You are very field oriented, close to customers and teams.

You are the guarantor of the application of the brand’s standards, you control the financial balance of your department, Establish forecast budgets and ensure the profitability of your business.

You maintain effective communication within your F&B team and with other departments of the hotel. You ensure the constant improvement of the brand image of the hotel catering as well as the quality of service. You continually train your teams to the Conrad standards.

You will be expected to perform the following tasks in particular, while maintaining a high standard of service;

- Manage the service and ensure its optimal organization

- Manage all outlet operations

- Maintain outstanding levels of customer service

- Ensure compliance with Conrad brand standards

- Recruit, manage, train and develop the team- Gérer les requêtes des clients en temps opportun et de manière efficace

- Work within the Food and Bev cost Payroll budget

- Setting objectives, work schedules, budgets and policies and procedures

- Encourage team members to maximize sales and revenue

- Conduct annual and semi-annual assessments

- Assess customer satisfaction levels with focus on continuous improvement

- Ensure that communication meetings are conducted

- Be environmentally conscious

- Maintain good working relationships

- Comply with hotel safety, regulations and all health and safety laws

- With a natural sociable and positive nature, you are a leader who cares about the well-being of his team members and their development.Knowledge of the Hilton group and the Conrad brand will be a definite asset.Interpersonal and behavioural skill

What are we looking for?

-Minimum 3 years experience in a similar position within a 5* resort

-Passionate about customer relations, leadership, charisma, employee development

-Using a computer / Microsoft

-Ability to analyze data for strategy development

-Ability to manage emergency situations while remaining calm

-Teamwork

-Fluent French and English

-International experience

-Experience in a global and recognized hotel group

Customer relations

• Good looks, distinction and perfect mastery of customer relationship codes

• Fluency in French and English, a third language will be a plus

Qualifications, knowledge and skills

• BTS Management in Hospitality

• You have several successful experiences of at least two years in 5* resorts.
