ITT Vertical Pump Design Engineer in Vadodara, India

Position Summary

Qualifications

  • Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

  • Preferably with FEA experience for vertical/horizontal pumps

  • Sound knowledge of vertical / horizontal centrifugal pumps and pump package.

  • Experience in CAD modeling and documentation

  • Proficient with CREO Parametric 3D Modeling/drawing creation and also with Autocad

  • Familiar with GD&T

  • Knowledgeable of pump package design / lay-out

  • Knowledgeable of API plan and sealing system

  • Knowledgeable of pump package’s instrumentation

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks

  • Highly self-motivated, a willingness to make a difference and learn

  • Good communication skills and the ability to work with different engineering team members

  • Working knowledge of MS Office products such as Excel, Word etc...

  • Strong design judgment.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Configure and 3D modelling of vertical pump assembly

  • Prepare engineering submittal (i.e. GAD and auxiliary piping drawing in 2D and 3D, pump sectional drawing, wiring diagram, P&ID, etc…) using ITT Goulds CAD software; Creo Parametric 4.0 & Autocad Plant 3D 2023

  • Prepare fabrication and machining drawings such as soleplates, pump components, fixtures, etc.

  • Review project requirement and understand applicable specification.

  • Review of internal (pump related drawings) and buy-out drawings ( motor, coupling, mechanical seal, seal system, etc… ) for engineering submittal preparation

  • Interact to global engineering and inter departments

Essential Responsibilities
