The MNIT DCT team provides essential IT support for a wide range of healthcare services, including mental health, substance abuse treatment, and support for individuals with developmental disabilities. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that the technology needs of DCT are met, enabling them to deliver high-quality care and treatment services to Minnesotans in need.
Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for business analysis, project management, and system implementation? We are seeking a Business Analyst & Project Management Supervisor to lead a team of project managers and business analysts in driving the success of Direct Care and Treatment (DCT) systems.
In this role, you will supervise and guide a team responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, and implementing both new and existing DCT systems. You will play a key role in shaping the functionality and efficiency of critical systems such as Phoenix, MyAvatar (EHR), and other DCT-supporting applications, ensuring they meet operational and clinical needs.
As a strategic leader, you will provide direction, mentorship, and oversight to staff, ensuring projects align with business objectives and technology best practices. Your expertise in business process analysis, stakeholder collaboration, and project delivery will be instrumental in enhancing system functionality and improving service delivery within the organization.

Telework (https://mn.gov/mmb-stat/policies/1422-telework.pdf) for Minnesota IT Services allows an employee to perform work from a telework location and an employee may be required to be in the office based on business needs and other dependencies in Vadnais Heights, Minnesota.

Minimum Qualifications

Position requires a minimum of three (3) years of combined experience in business analysis and project management.
Experience must include:
Strong understanding of business process analysis, requirements gathering, and workflow documentation.
Experience managing projects using methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
Ability to supervise or mentor business analysts and project team members.
Proficiency in project management and business analysis tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, MS Project, Visio).
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Lead work or supervisory experience.
Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving business transformation initiatives.
Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, CRM platforms, or other enterprise-level applications.
Knowledge of change management and process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean).
Experience working in healthcare or the public sector, particularly with electronic health records (EHR) systems, regulatory compliance, or large-scale IT implementations in a mission-driven environment.
