Robert Half Inventory Controller in Vacaville, California

Description

We are looking for a proficient Inventory Analyst to join our team in Vacaville, California. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our inventory records, coordinating inventory counts, and handling inventory control procedures. You will also generate regular inventory reports and perform root cause analyses to drive process improvements. This role falls within the manufacturing industry and offers an exciting opportunity for those seeking a permanent position.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain inventory control procedures across the facility to ensure complete inventory accuracy and reliability.

• Coordinate and perform scheduled monthly on-site and bi-annual off-site inventory counts.

• Handle all transactions related to inventory in SAP, including receipts of bare and painted coil and all coil movement transactions.

• Perform root cause analysis related to cycle count inaccuracies and drive process improvements.

• Generate regular inventory reports and analyze data to provide insights into inventory trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

• Work closely with Operations personnel to ensure a shared understanding of the importance of inventory accuracy.

• Work with the Quality Department to ensure damaged product is accurately captured and removed from inventory, and that quality records are maintained.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, industry standards, and company policies related to inventory control and management.

• Maintain a safe and secure inventory storage environment, adhering to safety protocols and overseeing security measures to prevent theft or damage to inventory.

Requirements

• Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience as an Inventory Analyst or similar role

• Proficient in conducting Annual Physical Inventories

• Skilled in performing Cycle Count

• Experience in Root Cause Analysis

• Knowledge of Audit - Operational

• Proficient in using SAP and Microsoft Excel

• Ability to analyze and solve problems efficiently

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field is preferred.
