Want to learn about Low-Code Development in the Oracle Database and contribute to a good cause? We offer an exciting internship with excellent learning opportunities and a result that will be used by people for a very long time.

Oracle volunteers are working with the Speel-O-Theek in Utrecht to design and build a new application that clients and staff will use to manage inventory and the lending process; if the internship is successful, the application will be used in production.

Responsibilities:

• Investigate how Oracle solutions such as Oracle Database and Oracle APEX can meet thefunctional specifications of the client

• Learn to program applications using Oracle APEX and Oracle Database

• Take the lead in the development process of the new application for the client

• Collaborate with Oracle internal teams to get the most out of the functionalities offered

• Deliver a working application developed with Oracle Solutions

Requirements:

• Willingness to learn to work with Oracle Database, Oracle Apex and Oracle Cloud

• Interest in and affinity for database development, low code applications and designing an application; you will do most of the coding, testing and development

• Knowledge of SQL and/or PL/SQL and/or Javascript is a plus

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Fluent Dutch speaker as the main language of the application will be Dutch

• Good (technical) English reading skills as most documentation and training is in English

Location: A combination of Utrecht and the home office is preferred. Amsterdam is an option

Duration: 6 months internship, closing date 1st August
