Resource Center for Independent Living Youth Advocate-Case Manager for At-Risk Youth in Utica, New York
Annual Non-Exempt Salary: $37, 856.35
35 hour work week
Job Duties:
The successful candidate will be expected to:
Provide information and referral services.
Complete Support Service Plan to support identified needs.
Provide information and referral services.
Conduct a youth risk assessment to determine their potential for crisis.
Maintain regular contact with participants and their family members to monitor progress. This includes visits at mutually agree upon locations (including the home)
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Experience working with youth and/or individuals with disabilities, either professionally or personally.
Strong advocacy, networking, and organizational skills.
Knowledge of community-based services.
Excellent customer service skills.
Computer skills, including outlook and Microsoft programs.
Education:
An Associates Degree is preferred; a High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience may be considered in lieu of higher education.
