The College is looking for exceptional colleagues to join the MVCC community. We are currently seeking a full-time Community Coordinator in our Center for Corporate and Community Education department. The Community Coordinator is responsible for coordinating an array of non-credit program offerings to meet the diverse needs of our local community.

Key responsibilities for this position include:

Develops and oversees a portfolio of community programming by creating class schedules, coordinating marketing efforts, and serving as a point of contact for staff, students, and parents; Researches best practices and trends in non-credit, youth programming to stay up to date on new and emerging career and activity trends; Recruits and manages part-time staff to deliver innovative and interactive learning experiences; Coordinates and ensures compliance of annual requirements for part-time employees; Cultivates and maintains positive relationships with local school districts and community partners to maximize program delivery opportunities; Monitors all course activity to ensure continuity implementation and success of learners; Analyzes and tracks program results, statistics and course evaluations to assess program success; Assists in promoting and marketing non-credit programming to the community using social media, email, outreach activities and more; Develops proposals, contracts, and grants for external funding for community programming as may be prioritized by the College for implementation to meet its mission and goals; Perform other duties related to this job description as assigned by the Director of Community and Workforce Development. Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree Three (3) years experience working in program development or customer service Effective interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Ability to be a creative problem-solver and manage multiple deadlines and programs simultaneously Valid drivers license at the time of hire and for the duration of the appointment Preferred Qualifications:
