Little Secret Food Wholesale seeks a Business Intelligence Analyst in Utica, NY. The successful candidate will perform the following duties: • Generate standard or custom reports summarizing business, financial, or economic data for review by executives, managers, clients, and other stakeholders;• Synthesize current business intelligence or trend data to support recommendations for action;• Collect business intelligence data from available industry reports, public information, field reports, or purchased;• Maintain or update business intelligence tools, databases, dashboards, systems, or methods;• Identify and analyze industry or geographic trends with business strategy implications;• Communicate with customers, competitors, suppliers, professional organizations, or others to stay abreast of industry or business trends;• Analyze technology trends to identify markets for future product development or to improve sales of existing products;• Negotiate sales or lease agreements for products or services;• Developing and executing purchasing strategies, tracking metrics, negotiating deals, and managing vendors;• Resolve customer complaints or problems;• Analyze financial records or reports to determine state of operations;• Prepare financial documents, reports, or budgets;• Collaborate with stakeholders, forecast market trends, and ensure clear requirements documentation;• Analyze costs, mitigate risks, and determine optimal delivery quantities and timings;• Develop, lead, and execute purchasing strategies;• Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness;• Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms; and• Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking.
