SOS International LLC Systems Administrator/Manager in USAG Humphreys, Korea, South Korea

This position is contingent upon award of contract

SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking a highly qualified Systems Administrator/Manager to join a program providing critical network operations and maintenance services for our government customer. The ideal candidate will have proven experience supporting Command, Control, Communications, Computers, & Intelligence (C4I) IT systems and services.

Essential Job Duties

  • Responsible for activities related to system administration.

  • Assigns personnel to various projects, directs their activities, and evaluates their work.

  • Hands on Red Hat/Solaris, Windows, and cybersecurity.

  • Managing a team of System Administrators providing C2 and VDI/Web services.

  • Unix Shell scripting, Oracle/Sun HW, DISA STIG/SCAP implementation.

  • Ensures long-term requirements of systems operations and administration are included in the overall information systems planning of the organization.

  • Responsible for the installation, maintenance, configuration, and integrity of computer software.

  • Implements operating system enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the system.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Active DoD Secret clearance

  • BA/BS Degree in information technology or related discipline.

  • Twelve (12) or more years in the field or related area; at least three (3) years of experience working in South Korea.

  • ISC2, CISSP, Sun Certified Solaris System Admin, CompTIA Security+, Network+, ITIL V3 certifications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Eight years of hands-on experience in management of complex virtualized server environment with a mixture of Windows and Unix-based machines.

  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment.

  • Fast paced, deadline-oriented environment.

  • May require periods of non-traditional working hours including consecutive nights or weekends (if applicable).
