Summary of role: Managing GF Turnkey’s subcontractor performance in packaging and wafer bumping to meet GF’s requirements and expectation for Engineering/ Production packaging (Bumping & Assembly) activities Essential Responsibilities :

  • Managing of Engineering (eg: MPW / IP /Technologies TV, .. ) and Production Packaging activities.

  • Prepare quotes in response to the Business Unit (BU) customer requests.

  • Drive resolution of engineering issues/complaints relating to GF Turnkey’s subcontractor.

  • Drive engineering activities with subcontractors and customers to improve yield, efficiency, cost and quality.

  • Verification of assembly instructions to meet customer’ specifications.

  • Work with subcontractor’s engineers and /or cross functional teams to resolve any issues that related packaging quality, yield and reliability performances.

  • Work with SQM and subcontractors on customer and GF specifications alignment.

  • Assist in follow up of new turnkey project startup to ensure first time prototype success for assembly services within the expected time to market, if appointed target.

Other Responsibilities:

Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

Qualifications :

  • Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering or material science/or related fields; or Relevant education and years of working experiences

  • At least 1 year of relevant experience preferably with bumping/packaging assembly background with semiconductor assembly manufacturing.

  • Experience in interfacing with subcontractor assembly services would be an advantage.

  • Possess good communication skills.

  • Possess good time management skills as well as a strong sense of commitment.

Expected Salary Range

$63,500.00 - $142,000.00

The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
